Colorado... *SIGH*

Here's a few pictures from Colorado.. Maybe if I see enough pics where it was cold, maybe I'll GET cold.

There were little pretty flowers EVERYwhere...

There were lovely little random streams flowing through some of the valleys.. The only streams we have down here is when you let all the water out of your pool.

Such a beautiful view... But it was slightly hard to breath.. Actually, it was pretty hard to.. You would walk like five feet and be out of breath. WHEW.

There were MAGPIES there too:):) TOOO cool... but they could get slightly annoying.. By the noises that they made. But their prettyness made up for it!!

If you walked a little bit from the place that we were staying, THIS was the view that you gotta see...

And the trees were somethin' else.. SOOOO pretty!!

Ok, so some people say this looks like a BEEHIVE...? Hmmmmm......;)

Huh, and I thought that our White-tailed deer were big.

She decided that she wanted a close-up taken. It was sooooooo amazing to be able to be so close to a wild Elk like that.:):)

YES, this IS Colorado.. But inside a veeeery neat-o candy factory..

WHOOooo... Scary scary... actually it was.. A big black bug flew in my hair, and I went crazy.. Not a good thing to do when you are  that high up..

And then it was FINALLY time to put our coats on, AND PLAY IN THE SNNNOOOWWW!!!

This was a track in the snow... I tried to figure out what it was.. But no luck:(

A Wednesday Night.. With A.T:)

This is a few pics of a Wednesday night.. after services, of course ;)

So first, she falls down and in the process, covers her head with her hair. :)

But forgets that she "might" be hurt, and jumps up, and keeps on going.

Sits down for a picture, but then decides that she doesn't want her picture after all!!!!

Then gives me a good smile after a few coaxing words!!! .... and just to let everyone know, the little hand thing was her idea!!!!!!!:)

All that falling, and jumping up and smiling made her tired, so time a for a short little rest:)!!!!!!

In memory of our Bluebonnets!!!

Well, we had to mow our front lawn SOME time... So all the Bluebonnets are bye-bye.... :( Here are a few pictures in their memory!!!

So we're pretty sure that this is an Alligator Gar.. I hope this is a deep-sea creature, and not one that is in shallow water... Like what I play in.... Uhg, that gives me the creeps!!!

Pelicans are some pretty awesome birds... They are definitely one of my favorites :)

Klarisa and I... You can't really see my BAD sunburn, but believe me, it is there!!!!:(












......Yah, so we had fun!!:) But I did really get a bad sunburn... AND I DID PUT SUNSCREEN ON, but I think it washed off.... I'll have to be more careful next time:)

Two birds and two cats :(

Well, we re-named a garden today under VERY sad circumstances.:(

Klarisa was over for a bit this morning.. When she came in she said that she almost stepped on a dead yellow bird that was in our drive-way. :(:( So I looked it up in our bird book and found out that it was a Northern Parula...  I buried it in the garden under some rocks, and we named the garden Parula. 

So this is the Northern Parula.. Isn't is pretty?? Our cats always have to kill the pretty birds.










This afternoon my cat Jolly got out.. She has been gettin out allll day long. Very annoying. So one of the times she got out, she came back into the frontroom with a dead Indigo Bunting. :(:( I was in the sewing room, and dad said, "Jolly brought a bird in the house!" I thought that he was joking, but he definately wasn't. Jolly was laying on the floor batting around the dead bird. Oh MY I got sooo mad at her!! For one, for killing a bird, and for two, she wasn't even supposed to be OUT in the first place!!

So I put her in the kennel and buried the bird in the same garden I buried the other bird in. So now the garden's name is the Blue Parula Garden.:(:(










I guess we're going to have to fix the screen door.
